I've been keeping an eye out for Benchmark Amps. Not the Benchmark Media sys. from the USA but Benchmark by George Sercher (SNA: audionerd)

So far I have:

A1

A201 (fusion series)

A200 (monitor series)

I still have Benchmark Speakers S100 bookshelf speakers (designed by Arthur Rappos)

I had a few other speakers  but  sold them to a friend

S300 (I don't know the designer)

S500  (Colin Whatmough design) Floor stander version of the 201 monitor

He has the S600 (another Colin Whatmough design)

A1

Not sure of the specs but definitely other design. The amp needs a service as there is a slight buzz. Compared to the other designs it's a bit flatter sounding less detailed.

The A200 is better than the A201. Meatier bass and better definition of instruments . I've gone through a few amplifiers over the last 10 years and this has been my favourite.

A201 uses MIT capacitors while A200 uses Wondercaps.
