Rest in peace Mr. Dickie Betts. Blessed to have seen he and his band GREAT SOUTHERN at the Superdome Mardi Gras concert in 1980. Awesome musician.

    The jamband scene isn't large in Australia and is huge in the USA with the festivals circuit. Betts was a head-and-shoulders-above guy live and on album. This is sad news.
