Fantastic great sounding amp. Not built by me (think I’m the 3rd owner now). Original builder did a great job (pictures below). Base is made from Queensland Maple.

Went to sell it ages ago, but it developed fault just before I shipped it out so refunded buyer.  Was going to keep to get repaired but its just been sitting ever since. Also have moved to dual amps since (speaker and headphones).

Fault is, once warmed up 15mins or so in it will start to pop/crackle through both channels. Happens regardless of source, headphones, tubes, volume etc. Did some googling and could be a solder crack joint, faulty tube socket, faulty LED (from Speedball kit) or even volume pedometer.

I'm not super technical minded to fix to trace faults like this but not expecting anything major cost wise to fix tbh, so selling at reduce cost and think the parts alone are worth this price?

Happy for a SNA reputable tube repairer to reach out as may go that way to repair instead of selling.

Comes with two tubes, JAN Philips 6080 and a Brimar CV4003 (12AU7)

Comes with upgrades I never got around get them installed (same with the last seller):

Blue ALPS Potentiometer + PCB

Triad CX7 choke

2 x Panasonic Polypropylene Capacitors

Extra feet

Prefer local pickup being tube DIY but can ship for about $25-35 AU wide at buyer’s request.

Postage insurance is an extra $20 if you want it

Also found these single tubes in my collection that can give free with the Bottlehead sale.

Siemens ECC82/12AU7

Tung-sol Black Glass 12AU7 ECC82

12AU7A – Marked CXBG USA, Could be a RCA or Raytheon (was in my box marked RCA)

12AU7WA Marked 6189 - Likely a Sylvania going by google or unsure.

Unsure of readings now but always buy tubes NOS to 75% used at the lowest. Not much use by me before I switched to speaker tube amps.

Thanks.
