Further Information

Renowned for its horsepower, the RB-1090 dual mono class AB warrants little introduction.

I dont have original box so pickup is preferred or a metro Melbourne delivery can be arranged.

EDIT: This amp shows a rise in low level THD due to worn PSU caps. Please see my post below.

NOTE: the amp is sitting on sandblasted glass, not a pile of dust!

yesterday after running this amp on speakers it had never seen before it became apparent the amps PSU caps need replacing.

So what do I do now, my options...

1/ for prospecting buyers I'll now take $1250 for the amp as is, you have it recapped and you'll be all smiles for a reasonable price

2/ I recap the amp and re-list. Obviously its price will be reviewed

3/ I have Nelson Pass Turbo PCBs that need a home. Yep, convert this baby into a Dual Mono Class A Nelson Pass FW Turbo V3 amp. Why not, this amps an ideal donor! Then sell off the RB-1090 PCB in parts. Myself I like this option 🤓

THE DECISION IS YOURS

Thanks

If you were to proceed with this option, where you will get this done ?
