Something for those who love over-the-top engineering.  For example, each channel  uses two ES9038PRO chips, for a total of four in the player. 
Originally purchased direct from Soulnote in Japan in  September 2022 (a week before Australian distributor announced) :

1. S-3 ver 2 SE SACD & CD Player (plus numerous Digital inputs)
2. X-3 Clock Generator (10 MHz)
3. RCC-1 Clock Cable

 

S-3  ver 2 SE shipped back to Japan and replaced with new (current) S-3 ver 2 Reference in January 2023.  Sweet deal from Soulnote.   So things still under warranty.
