I’ve never had the feeling of listening to speakers instead of headphones as much as with these Abyss. Alas, I’m not listening to headphones enough to justify keeping for $26k of headphones gear in the house. Current retail for the TC version is $10.2k. I’ve contacted Abyss and the cost to upgrade the CC to the TC (a driver change) is rather reasonable at $550US, including return shipping. AB1266 (the original version) AB1266 PHY (driver update) AB1266 PHY CC (same drivers as the PHY but cosmetic changes with a ceramic coating and a new earpad design) AB1266 PHY TC (updated drivers and new headband) The CC I’m selling come with the newer headband found on the TC (a $500 upgrade).
