I got this on disc last Thursday and haven't stopped playing it.[ One thing I'm not short of if leisure time 🙂 ]

REBIRTH seems a LOT bigger than FFVII Remake, I must of stuck in around 35 hours of play so far, and am approx 45% into the game, but I know the last 55% is going to take a lot longer to finish.

I'm playing it on a PS5 set for graphics quality, rather than 120FPS, and I do get the game sort of freezing on me during some combat, usually when I'm changing things in the battle menu.

A bit annoying, but I can live with it as it doesn't happen often.

What DOES annoy the crap out of me is the inability to alter the sensitivity of the PS5 controllers sticks [Camera/right stick you can slow it down in the menus, Left stick / direction you can't], they are far far too sensitive, and have you darting around all over the place uncontrollably when

1] Wandering around in the free world, especially at speed

2] Steering a Chocobo at speed 😫🤬- when you first get a Chocobo you have a small circuit race around the farm, as a sort of training, it has 3 times to beat, which if the sticks didn't have this sensitivity problem, should be easy to at least get 3rd.

Nope, I can't even do that.

3] Other mini games, of which there are heaps, and some you need to at least get 3rd to get a item that will allow you to proceed with the game ! [The Pirate shooting game at Costa de Sol is a classic example]

With some other mini games, getting the best possible score is the only way you can get some of the upgraded weapons for some characters , which is something I've never had a problem with on previous FF games, just this one.

I don't know if a game update can fix this issue, but it is really making this game a disappointment because I can't do everything in it because of this issue.

I've even resorted to cutting up a kitchen sponge to make some pads to fit around the sticks in a hope to be able to control things better, but that hasn't really worked.

I don't intend to go out and pay $400 for a PS5 EDGE controller just because you CAN adjust the stick sensitivity.

Anyway, it's still a good game, could be great without this issue.

Anybody else got this on PS5 ?

I see all the YouTube videos you see of people doing the mini game challenges are doing so on a PC, where they can easily fix this issue, so it hasn't widely been mentioned as a problem.

Never got into the FF games, but they sure do look pretty, and if there was ever a "that's not a knife/sword, this is a knife/sword" FF has that :D
