Further Information: Sort after model for audiophiles & vintage Marantz lovers. It needs belts to be changed otherwise it works perfectly as I have taken the lid of to see if it reads cds & it does.It plays tracks till the end perfectly & all functions work perfectly.

Optical & Digital coaxial output works perfectly as well.

Cosmetically it's 8 out of 10 in condition.

I just don't have the time to wait & get it repaired.

No remote but you can buy that online if required.

No transport screws for shipping but as always will be packed extremely well for shipping.

Postage & insurance is included.

Thanks

Yep.

Owned lots of them over the years with all stages of mods.  Even stock they sound great.

Also a fantastic transport.  Kajak went crazy modifying his years ago including i2s using cat 5 to his dac.

The Wadia WT3200 was that little bit better again and was a modified CD94 with some extra copper and a different faceplate (and I think orange LED display rather than the stock).

Those CDM1 die cast swingarms last for ages and sound wonderful.

I think they also used the earlier dutch TDA1541's rather than the later (and often inferior) Taiwanese ones.

You could buy it as a transport backup for your MSB dac, George. 🙂
