JKlopp1892 Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 Further Information: High quality Cambridge CD transport. Excellent condition. Working perfectly. Comes with original remote and power cord. 1
A.K. Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Excellent transport! If you like detail and refinement, connect this to a decent DAC and sit back and enjoy. Leaves most CD players (used as transports) standing. I use the same with a Primare DAC30 and the result is sublime. Best of luck with the sale.

Because it's a real CD transport laser/mech, not a cheap laptop or automotive slot loader. The big + is it, it uses a linear power (LPS) supply, not a noise radiating/infiltrating switch- mode (SMPS), must in my opinion for sensitive source equipment. https://ibb.co/5F4MCCd Cheers George Edited February 12, 2024 by georgehifi 1
JKlopp1892 Posted February 12, 2024 Author Posted February 12, 2024 Thanks guys. I had this hooked up to the PS Audio DAC, which I have also listed for sale, and the sound quality is truly amazing. Punches way above its weight!

(unlike George). 1
georgehifi Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 (edited) Yes very similar to that complete player/dac, if you take the dac/output stage away, what's left is just a great transport. (that internal shot of the CXC you showed, someone has clocked it) We better stop this and allow the OP to sell this at the great price he has it at.
