Have to disagree with you. It will put even passive floor standers to shame with its bass response!

Any idea if the speaker is actually going to be sold or whether it just a research project in support of the Purifi drivers?

I believe Purifi is an OEM supplier, which means that they will supply the technology for someone to make and sell the product under their own brand...

Makes sense. The performance looks amazing given the design constraints of a small, passive, two-way speaker.
