lucius72
I'm having a hard time to find the current and power requirements for an Accuphase toroidal power transformer part number 510-2008-00 so I can get it rewinded as the original one got burnt. I've attached a picture. Thanks.
Ian McP
What model Accuphase amplifier is it from? Perhaps Liquid aAudio is the go? They've worked on Accuphase. https://liquidaudio.com.au Edited November 15, 2023 by Ian McP
lucius72
It's from an Accuphase P-266. Cheers.
Ian McP
https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/accuphase/p-266.shtml no current ratings on schematic, would be an expensive rewind! hfe_accuphase_p-266_schematic.pdf
Ian McP
Liquid Audio's experience repairing a P300. Worth asking them, I reckon. https://liquidaudio.com.au/accuphase-p-300-amplifier-repair-review/#Repair_vs_Replace p-266en.pdf

pretender
Can I ask you where you got a spare transformer? I have a P266 from Japan and unfortunately, unlike yours, it can only deliver 100 and 120V despite the markings at the back mentioning 220 and 240V. lucius72
I've never got to use this one but I believe it requires swaping some wires based on color code inside the amp to be used with 240V. All Accuphase before 1990 can be converted . You just need someone qualified to do it for you. Something similar here https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/accuphase-e-260-voltage-conversion-100v-to-230v
stephen callil
I got a Accuphase P -266 and when I brought the back where the power lead goes into it said 100/117 /240 v .Could be a later model that automatically adjust to voltage been fed into it. A great amp
