I'm actually thinking of an 83A80L OLED instead They have the 85X95L here. https://www.audiotrends.com.au/home-theatre-tv/tv-projectors/televisions/sony-bravia-85-x95l-xr-mini-led-4k-google-tv.html I've got the 77" A80K ATM [TBH there is virtually no difference between it and the newer A80L ], it's a good TV with a lot better blacks than a Mini LED, but even for a new OLED it is not the brightest TV, which is something that might put you off it compared to Mini LED which can be very bright. What it loses in brightness it makes up for in screen view angle, as I can be standing in my kitchen at a almost 45 degree angle to the TV and still have a perfectly viewable picture. Thanks, Have bought a fair bit of stuff from AudioTrends over the years when I was in Melbourne. On this issue, I'm probably limited to dealing directly with Sony though

We have most of the Sony range on our website, or you can message/call/email me on Monday and I'd be happy to help.

Should be live in a month or two.
Tweaky
For what it's worth, I think Sony has announced that it intends to make MINI LED it's premiere product in the 4K category , rather than QD-OLED. I can only suspect Sony engineers have come up with something better LCD/LED technology that we might see in 2025/6. I mean OLED is great, but TBH, when watching on a large screen, apart from 4K picture definition, Contrast wise, OLED looks like the ultimate in what could be attainable via the best CRT projection. Everything can look FILM LIKE on Sony OLED's. Great if watching Lawrence Of Arabia, but not for everything
audiofeline
I will not buy another Sony product again, and I used to think quite highly of them. Mrs Feline bought a Sony noise-cancelling headphones (~$80), and within the warranty period they exploded - fortunately not when she was wearing them, as it was a very loud explosion and plastic embedded in the plaster wall. For six months Sony did everything they could to evade their consumer obligations (even blaming Mrs Feline for not using "Sony" brand batteries when they don't make them!). A thread to post the story on national and international audio forums somehow enabled them to have an engineer re-assess them and an offer of a replacement was made within 20mins. The replacement failed with minimal use after a few weeks. With such disregard for their consumer obligations and disrespect for loyal customers they have lost me as a customer for the rest of my life.
