Suburb or Town: Northcote State: VIC Payment Method: EFT, PayPal Reason for selling: Too dangerous with my little ones running around. Further Information: A steal at this price. Decware Zen Mystery Amp. In mint condition. Only 10 months old. These are very very rare. I’m not sure how many of these are in Australia. Delivery time on Decware amps has just ballooned to nearly 2 years. This is 40wpc push pull vacuum tube amplifier. There are no circuit boards. Decware amps are made to order using almost entirely US made parts. Although this is push pull design, Steve Deckertt voices these to sound like SET amps. This amp was custom built for me with additional specs including transformer coupled XLR inputs, 25th Anniversary copper bypass mods and special maple base. I originally ordered the African Padauk but the colour was not to my liking. I’m including this in the sale. All up delivered including taxes was over $13000. Approximately 70-100 hours on the tubes. Tonnes of life left. Decware amps are made to minimise tube burnout. The amp is made with 4ohm and 8ohm taps. The amp comes with a stepped attenuator volume control so no preamp is necessary. Fitted with Golden Lion KT66 outputs tubes. Decware come with a life time warranty. Warranty transfer is 10% of the current model price. Further details can be found on the Decware website. https://www.decwareproducts.com/service#:~:text=POLICIES&text=Cost of warranty transfer is,shipping it to the buyer. There are plenty of reviews online, including being compared to Shindo and Wavac amplifiers which are considerably more expensive. This is a super rare opportunity to grab a bespoke tube amp without having to wait two years. Go on and jump the queue. Preference given to local sale but I can ship in original flight case. I'll consider trades for an Ayre Ax 5 Twenty, Marten Oscar duo/Marten Parker Duo or Stenheim Alumine 2. With cash either way depending on condition and age etc. Obviously I new the tube amp would be an issue with young kids however, every since I first saw a valve amp, I have been desperate to live with one. Having done that, I know I will return to one day when the kids are bigger and less handsy. Will consider reasonable offers.
