I will make do with a Black Russian Cocktail.......🤠

Just make sure they bring an unopened bottle to the table, vodka distilled in a garage can be a problem

@Stump is an international arms dealer.  Supply and demand really…

Plenty of good reasons to be in Moscow.  The history, architecture and food is enough reason by themselves.  Then the public rail system is an experience you’ll never forget.  A hi-fi show to boot is the icing on the cake.

Yeah...I've been to Moscow and it's a cool place.  Just seems like a place to avoid at the moment, and most businesses in my industry have pulled out of Russia completely.  No judgement, just curious.

Without delving into politics, curious why one would be in Russia.  I assume you are not going there just for the hi-fi show?

Agree with the history and architecture part, but I found the food highly forgettable (although having said that I still remember having food poisoning there - no, not polonium).

I don't recognize that building . I do like to vary accommodation with historical and cheap. I booked the Izmailovo Beta Hotel next to the Izmailovsky Market. Group of 5 hotels built for the Olympics 2500 rooms each. $50 per night . My last night will be in Moscow Hilton one of the 7 sisters....
