RAV
Hello everyone, a long time rock music lover from Poland here. After all the years of being fascinated by the digital formats, DACs and computer audiophilia I ended up with my first turntable and a bunch of favourite records. Interested in turntables, cartridges, preamps etc. Fed up with computers, remote controls, smartphones, scrolling and clicking.
aertex
Welcome Rafal. Your move from digital to vinyl (analogue) is not alone. You will find several experienced audio guys here who are like minded and have done exactly the same. This in turn may raise the question, is newer audio better? Thats for each us to individually decide I guess-and can be a multi-faceted question too. Welcome and enjoy Alan

A long time (50-yr) vinyl lover ... I have recently embraced "the dark side" by using: * a miniDSP to provide: XOs for my active spkrs, delay for my 'mains' - as the subs are further away from my ears and EQ to compensate for the lack of bass with my 'zero baffle' spkrs. * and recently, the use of Roon Convolution to provide a 'linear-phase overlay' for the IIR filters which my miniDSP unit delivers. But no smartphones are involved.
