I've now resigned myself to attending just one day of the show. I've booked an early Sunday flight, flying home the following evening, but that gives me one full day and an evening of wining and dining.

As for the cost of my night's accommodation on south bank, let's just say that I'm allowing myself to be robbed by the bank.

Oh well you can console yourself with the thought that the pleasure will be remembered long after the cost is forgotten

Does it have a couch? And do not discuss with @@evil c

We could have made a lot of new friends with our interstate stereonet members opening up our homes and setting them up on the couch or the spare bedroom!

But what's a fair price to charge for doing this?

@@Luc is about to find out!  ;)

 Payment in kind :P

My door is always open, as long as you look like this.

Actually we're surprisingly similar in that I have an upper arm about the size of her thigh and we share the same eye colour I believe. I know a good Cypriot restaurant at Southside or thereabouts too and I bet she doesn't. Oh, and I don't snore.

Wha-hay! What's not to like eh?

What - Luc's couch ??

@@Art Vandelay

Very comfortable accommodation available - don't mind the dog (or the cat)

Might be able to come to some amicable arrangement!  :D (only a $1 more than he's paying!)

Same deal for you - although it will be the dogs couch in the sunroom, eye covers mandatory!

I'm a humble man - just one bottle of red should cover it (707)  ;)

Poor old dog. In the doghouse? :(

For those who are coming from interstate or international, just a reminder if you need to go public transport in Melbourne  that includes all trains, trams and buses that you must have a valid Myki card.

What??   A Myki??   Gladys!!!! you said and I quote (from your website) .

“When the Opal rollout is complete, it’s the only card you’ll need to travel on any type of transport. â€œ

A first for me, I'll be attending the show this year :)

I've only allocated 1 day as I'm not sure how long it will take to get through most of the stands. I've put together a nice compilation of Kylie, so I hope the vendors will allow me to have some airtime :D

I'll be taking a camera, but not sure if I'll be taking any/many photos at the show, more so for a wander around the city afterwards :)

That would be very disappointing...I am a fan of your photographic skills...

I found 1 day plenty of time last year.

Thank you, I'm sure there will be many others snapping away. If its not too crowded I'm sure to take a few pic's :)

Thanks for that!

To be honest I was not going to bother going to the show this year.

But today I found out that a particular exhibitor is going to be there, I previously heard that they were not going to exhibit this year.

So I might have to work out a way of popping in despite the fact that my weekend was already really busy.
