Steever
I’m considering a new arm. For many years, I’ve been attracted to linear tracking arms and the Terminator seems to offer much of the performance of big dollar linear trackers for not much more than a mid-range Rega arm. For users, which cart or carts have worked well on yours? I have a Rega Ania Pro I’d like to keep but have been considering the usual Dynavector and Ortofon suspects around $2k if I do jump ship. Thanks all. Edited August 14 by Steever
TS23
Maybe you could consider one of these two, if you want to stick with the Yamaha theme? Not mine. Or do you have another turntable in mind? Cheers B
kwtools
I have been using the first generation Terminator since 2009 and have since up graded into the Tomahawk Wand till today. I can only say it matches many cartridges very well. I had Miyajima Kansui, Miyajima BE mono, Koetsu Rosewood, Denon 103 (aluminium and wood body), Decca super Gold and Decca C4E and liked them all!! For the past 5 years I normally listen with Decca C4E. I can safely say the Terminator is an excellent arm and very forgiving. I have 3 TT and other arms are Reed 2A and a heavily modified 12 inch Hadcock 242 and all 3 very good arms but Terminator with Decca C4E on Technics SP10 is my favourite everyday use it could also because I have a stand by Decca C4E to handle the wear. Hope above helps

I'd like to keep my Rega Ania Pro for the time being but may add others to make a small collection as budget suits. Cheers B As nice as the Yamaha is, I'm actually thinking of going back to a medium/high mass non suspended table of my own concoction using parts sourced from all over the place. I'd like to keep the Yamaha but I don't have room for two tables. Edited August 17 by Steever
