Very cool.  I have no lead on a supplier, but if you find one I will order some for sure!

Don't know how you'd find one in your neck of the woods, but if you could find someone who does clothing alterations, they would probably be able to whip something up if you supplied the dimensions and, perhaps, your preferred fabric.

Also guitar amp cover manufacturers may be able to help.

There are at least a couple in Australia from memory.

Glove I think is one, can’t remember the other. It’s been a while since I bought a cover.

edit Coverit is the other one I’ve used.

Is there anyone local doing similar dust covers to the below or can anyone vouch for a supplier?

A local supplier would be terrific but have you considered using HiFi Covers & Accessories (FB site you provided a link for)? If it's what they do as a speciality they may do it very well. I know that the FB / Internet marketplace can be a concern but based on the prices they show it seems very affordable. I wanted to get something like this done for my Pre & Power Amps as they are vented in the top covers and I had a concern over dust building up so you have brought this back to front of mind. I think any capable seamstress could do it but adding logos is very cool and that might need someone with embroidery skills / equipment.

Thanks all, looks like I might just have to be the test dummy and give the one I thinks ago

I use the covers. Found them on Amazon.

Then you could put a nice vase on top, voila!

My mum was nice enough to indulge me with these covers for my NS1000.
It’s a big step down from making dresses for the likes of Judith Durham and others back when she was an award winning dress maker 🙈

I have a bit of concern about covers - if the amps are really warm after a big session, is it safe to cover them - how long should they be left to cool first?

I imagine the heat could build to dangerous levels (well, at least for the longevity of the caps, etc) if not.

Myself, I just use tea-towels, which should be lint-free by design. And they let heat escape easily.

(Doilies don't really fit my decor, and would probably attract admiration from the wrong people for me).

Hi all,

Thought I would give some feedback and a recommendation, I ended up giving Hifi Audio Covers ago, who is also Audio Suits.com:

https://www.facebook.com/hifiaudiocovers?mibextid=ZbWKwL

https://portal.audiosuits.com/

With fantastic results as you can see. Marcel is very easy to deal with, everything is very customisable (see pockets on top of B-2 for cooling fans). Marcel is based in the Philippines where everything is made, each project is tracked through the Audio Suits portal.

Would use again. But maybe not black again, shows the dust.
