I have had the C2 platinum signature version & they are a fantastic speaker for the money.

These speakers at this price is a bargain for someone thinking of spending up to $10000.

Yes I’m so in love with them, saving up for nothing but bigger benesch now

I've heard the top of the range model of the benesch here in Perth & they are not that good as everyone says they are & I'm talking about hi end audiophiles so personally don't waste your money.

I heard them with $100000 worth of amplification & it wasn't Accuphase but more hiend brand from Japan.

The friend who had them moved to Magico

Oh wow really, I have tried few different amps on my act one evo like gryphon, mcintosh, ARC… none of them produced enough lower bass (yes these speakers need sub and I’m trying to avoid that), so accuphase gave me what I needed, and they’re all flagship models btw

Yes agreed with the other amps you have tried & Accuphase are good too but my advice is it's not always about bass & personally Benesch speakers on their own aren't bassy that's why they build a matching subwoofer if required.

Magicos on Accuphase will blow them & your Dynaudios out of the water.Personally I have had 2000w per channel on Dynaudios which was one of the most powerful amps I have ever heard.

I was that close to keeping them but guess what I ended up getting bored of the sound & that's why you moved to the Benesch because they are totally a different sound.I'm just saying to you try a different speaker then your Benesch & keep your Accuphase equipment for the time being.

Ask someone for you to borrow a pair of S3 Magico if you know someone or go & listen to them just for you to go to the next step or for you to have a good understanding.

Thanks for your input. I’m still in a process of trying different gears so whatever reasonable price comes up within my budget I’ll jump on it. I actually traded a pair of 803d3 for these C2’s plus some cash and already had the Wilson benesch before that. Trying to make some space for jbl 4345 and tannoys now, have compared with dynaudio evidence and I still prefer the midrange sound on my act one.. It’s all about the personal preference I guess.

Heard all those speakers you are talking about without buying them.Had top end model Tannoys & JBLs & prefer ATC SCM200 or 300 active speakers as I have been involved with ATC & PMC studio monitors.

Different sound to what you are playing with but I will tell you this if you want to play your music loud & I mean 110db & very clear & accurate at the same time you can't beat ATC or PMC top end models but if you want to have a more musical sound with separate amplification then I recommend Magico S3 or S5 for normal application.

Believe me there is no perfect speaker out there but I have heard practically everything & know what I am talking about.

I have helped alot of my friends with their systems & one guy here in Perth has a system over $1 million dollars which I help him with at times.Hope my advice points you in the right direction & good luck with the sale of the C2s 😉

I mean, a divorce is not that big of a deal anymore these days, right? And ATO would definitely understand my predicament, I mean we're talking about freaking C2 Dynaudios here, at a great price too.

God damn, you're in Adelaide too. 🔥

Yes they are a bargain at the price so if you got the money you will not regret it
