usethe4c
Having bought myself an rx a 3070 late last year for $1200 this is an extremely good buy for anyone in the market for an 11.2 capable avr that's just as good as the aventage equivalent. Good on you for pricing it with some fairness and common sense! GLWS.

Great specs I'm a gamer too but just decided it didn't mean that much to me. If you're playing COD or something else competitively constantly then fair enough. Most quality modes are 4k 60. You could always get a second console for 120hz direct to display and audio over phones

hopefullguy
sorry i dont agree about fair price.. as the birds say cheap cheap cheap. this is what 2.1 has done, conned people into dumping anything without 2.1 at silly prices. i have the rxa3070, quality avr and ypao is MUCH better than i was led to believe coming from several denon avrs with audyssey xt32. great unit, great built, great internals at a birdies price.
usethe4c
The fair price comment was mainly after my experience combing gumtree for one as I did for months. So many covid tax dreamers on there...

That is what a lot of Games do if their AVR's don't support 4k@120. I've got and have had Yamaha RX-A3080 for years and love it.

bizzibee
I'm surprised this RX-V3085 hasn't been snapped up yet. As I posted above, I own a Yamaha RX-A3080 and it, like this RX-V3085 are excellent AVR's.
