DarrenH Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Does anyone know what format the Foxtel iq drives are. Particularly the iq5? As i need to reformat drive to try and fix hdd errors. I have tried the factory reset on the iq5 but to no avail.
shihan171 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Hi Darren There is no way you can format this drive your self , Foxtel have encoded the drive so only they can get into the part of the drive which has the software operating there system . I had this problem last year tried and had no luck , in the end Foxtel sent me a new box when I returned the faulty one back to them .
DarrenH Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 I feared as much. Looks like i will have to jump through all the foxtel hoops to get a replacement. Thanks for your reply.
