Luc Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Will be fascinating can't wait. Geez...wouldn't he make mince meat of the mad monk if he was on the other side of the despatches bench...lol 1
davidsss Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 We can remember the days when politicians were actually entertaining and spoke their minds, at least Keating did. DS
mondie Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 sounds like great viewing, shame I will not be able to see it.
wolster Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 sounds like great viewing, shame I will not be able to see it. Can you get iView where you are, Mondie?
wolster Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Dunno Wol, will have to do some Googling. Apparently the ABC don't allow viewing through iView outside of Australia, Mondie. Try this site for a workaround. 1
mondie Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Thanks Wol, I will see if I am smart enought to get that to work.
JeffK Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 1st episode tonight. Even if your not interested in politics it included an engaging and quite extended reflection on the development of his love for music, both contemporary and classical. Didn't see his system though. 1
georgehifi Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Caught the last half last night and thoroughly and enjoyed it, the man is an inspriation, and has a way of saying things that makes me want to listen. He makes Abbot look like an unintelegent robotic tool, with a chintzy grin. Cheers George Edited November 12, 2013 by georgehifi

Just curious George, you edited your post - were there a few more adjectives for Abbot that you had to remove?
wolster Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Very enjoyable. As always, he was a bit full of himself but, in that setting, it was appropriate.

Super Mustud Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 As is often the case the man was more interesting with the passing of years as history puts his contribution into perspective and as he has time to do the same. Great show. I look forward to next week.
