Item: Quad 988 Electrostatic Speakers
Location: Brunswick, Melbourne
Price: $4000 + Shipping if required - Local pickup is highly preferable though, they are both large and heavy.

Item Condition: Near New - About 12 months old - Though in storage for the last 6, the odd bit of dust etc as I've not vacuumed them etc.

Reason for selling: Too many speakers, and they are large !

Extra Info: They are very large, but I have their original boxes and so they could be shipped - They cost around $400 to get to me however via Pack and Send.  The sound of these speakers is quite unique, they have an incredible image and detail in the right room - they do however require a largish space to make them sing.  They are not as forward as many speakers, but this does lead to a very relaxing and enjoyable listening experience.  I will be honestly very sad to see them go, but we've only got a little house !
