Sir Triode Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 How many youngsters have been victimized over the years...should an audiophile offender list be put up online? Name and shame I say. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/audiophiles-luring-youngsters-into-boring-conversations-2013110180809 5
NT3 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 From what I've seen of some young people they are the worst. One young guy, still in his teens, will rave non stop about his hifi setup. The only trouble he has is the lack of money. Haven't I heard that some where before ? 2
sdave Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Haha... Must be Britain's answer the The Onion.

caddisgeek Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 You come across as much older than 16, cg. Andy Wise head on young shoulders Andy
Newman Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 An audiofile once made me spend $7000 on equipment, then i found out it was still low end LOL, but remember that 'high-end' is purely a marketing term and refers only to high price. It does not infer or imply high performance, so a 'smart low-ender' can still hold his head high! 2

Its only boring if you are not interested. Sorry, I reckon I can beat this, LL12/Ittok/Asak, Naim32/250 with hicap, Linn Kans. The kans was because I was still living at home in a small 4x4m bedroom, laer upgraded to ProAc tabletts extended. All by 22. Heard a DIY power amp, sold the Naims and went full DIY for electronics, never looked back!
