From what I've seen of some young people they are the worst. One young guy, still in his teens, will rave non stop about his hifi setup.

 

The only trouble he has is the lack of money.

 

Haven't I heard that some where before ?

An audiofile once made me spend $7000 on equipment, then i found out it was still low end :(

 

Did he drive a white van by any chance ?

LOL, but remember that 'high-end' is purely a marketing term and refers only to high price. It does not infer or imply high performance, so a 'smart low-ender' can still hold his head high! :)

He did actually!! i feel so used.... i was so naieve!! No longer... my life will never be the same again.

Exactly!! I'm happy with my rig :) My room... not so much... but hey... that's another story haha.

Im a young appreciator of music, bought my "high end" spkrs @ 24, had many an interesting conversation with Cafad and Willco. Its only boring if you are not interested.

Sorry, I reckon I can beat this,

LL12/Ittok/Asak, Naim32/250 with hicap, Linn Kans.

The kans was because I was still living at home in a small 4x4m bedroom, laer upgraded to ProAc tabletts extended.

All by 22.

Heard a DIY power amp, sold the Naims and went full DIY for electronics, never looked back!
