erest Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Item: Legacy Audio Signature 3 floor standing speakers.SOLD!!!Location: Keysborough VICPrice: 2300.00Item Condition: Used in excellent condition. Sonically perfect.Reason for selling: Way too big for my compact "MAN CAVE"Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD OnlyExtra Info: Superb speakers in every way. In my 20 years of speaker hobbying, these have to be among the best 3 speakers I ever owned, and I had 100s... I am the third owner of these. I bought them from a secondhand dealer a few months back. They were traded by an elderly gentleman. NO WEAKNESSES, play classical, jazz. rock, techno, heavy rock, with aplomb. 3 x 10" woofers per sealed box (yes, one underneath as well). The sound is open, detailed, fast, musical, MAGICAL!!! but these are big and heavy speakers weighing in at around 60Kgs each. Cosmetically some fading on boxes, light scratches, easily 8/10. Grills 7/10 with no tears or pulls. Functionally perfect. I would never sell them, if my cave was bigger...my new 25W valve amp struggles... These need a big amp to really make them sing, as impedance can drop to as low as 3 ohms. Can audition for serious buyers only. These are fully adjustable to your liking via switches on the back. STRICTLY PICKUP ONLY. Pictures: Edited November 6, 2013 by erest

Guest yamaha_man Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I have Sasha's in a room 3.5 x 4. I don't see what your worried about.
erest Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 Some speakers just need space to breathe, a lot of drivers here, jus too much in your face in a small room even with all the treatment. To keep sound "live and airy" you need some reflection as well...
unclemack Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I have Sasha's in a room 3.5 x 4. I don't see what your worried about. That's because you're mental... he he 1

Damhooligan Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Omg... Those are some seriously good looking speakers... They are sexy... If i wasn't bankrupt already i would buy them..
Guest Multidimension Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Erest, can you please describe how they sound with the rear tweeters on compared to off? Thx.
erest Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) There is always an improvement in soundstage with rear tweeters on, if you have a hard reflecting surface behind speakers. Sound is a bit more airy. Also sound good without rear firing tweeters. Tweeter can be switched on or off via a toggle switch on the back, close to terminals. Cheers: Tim Edited November 4, 2013 by erest
henry218 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 legacy is one of those company that produces an excellent speakers with down to earth prices. even DIY wont be cheaper (qty of drivers and xover parts only) let alone with cabinets and engineered transfer function. anyone who wants a real bada$$ speakers, this should be it 1
