dsj1188 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Hi I wanted to replace my pulley on the P3-24 as I bought a new subplatter with dual belts. I managed to remove the pulley with no problems but when I tried to get the new pulley through the axle, I think I have dislodged the motor. I opened the back up and the motor is no longer glued to the board. Also I cannot seem to get the pulley through the axle. Can anyone help me repair my TT please. I live around the hills distirct in NSW but willing to travel to get this fixed. Thanks Edited November 3, 2013 by dsj1188
Al Leece Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 You could do worse than contact Tony (Ophool) in these forums. He is excellent with turntables and regas in particular.
dsj1188 Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 Just wanted to say thanks to Tony for giving up his time to help me fix my TT. Thankfully the motor was not damaged but merely had to glue it back to the plinth. It was dislodged when I tried to replace the pulley. Also he had to drill into the hole of the pulley to get it to the right size. Thanks again Tony 1
