tygersmoke Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Hi, A bit of a long shot here. I recently bought a non-functioning Revox A720, and have managed to get it operating again. New axial caps have been ordered, along with some wedge lamps. One of the Nixie display valves is faulty, and I'd like to replace them all while I'm at it. I have the service manual from Studer Revox, and they don't show the Nixie type; surprisingly there is no parts list. Does anyone happen to know the Nixie type used? Or any tech's that would be familiar with this uncommon (in Australia, anyway) pre-ceiver in Sydney that I could take it to for an alignment and service? Thanks and regards, Phil 1
tygersmoke Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) how cool is that tuner display. Too right; that's a big part of why I've lusted after one of these for years. It's hanging in there pretty well considering it's 35+ years old! Regards, Phil Edited October 29, 2013 by tygersmoke
tygersmoke Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 For the archives: I dismantled the meter section yesterday, the nixies are Rodan (Japan) branded CD92/GR-116, 13mm digits.
