I Had the one with the black cover.. No internal differences as far as components..

Think it was $50 extra for black tops from factory

No USB input and I don't think it supports 192khz

This is Octave MK1 and never had USB input.

176k is the highest official sample rate this DAC can decode, some examples however can manage 192k cleanly.

Hard to find a DAC this good for the money, it's just amazingly clear, full and crisp. Brilliant.
