Kensell21 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Hi all Looking for what's out there to replace the stock SME cable from a SME IV arm. Need to be a right angle connection.. Thanks
Krispy Audio Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I've got one I whipped up for a turntable I no longer need. I used a Furutech right angle din plug, Eichmann ETI hybrid bulletplugs (silver on return) and cardas wire, with ALO SXC ground wire. It's oriented so that on an SME, it exits downwards but I can probably change it to suit whatever you need. Yours for $250 posted, I'd usually sell something of this spec for $400+. I can confirm length if you're keen but from memory it's 1.2m. Only caveat is the y-junction on the cable is close to the RCAs so you'd need a phono stage that has the RCAs next to each other rather than on opposite ends like some have.
