Volunteer sir sanders zingmore Posted October 23, 2013 Volunteer Share Posted October 23, 2013 Are these the ones? http://www.stereo.net.au/forums/index.php?/topic/56084-fs-kef-reference-32/
glennmid
Yes, they are the ones. I am passing on for the price it cost me to land in Melbourne from Canberra(actually, a slight bit cheaper as shipping was $220) They are an excellent speaker, but need a bit of room to breathe and a good amp. Cheers, Glenn Edited October 23, 2013 by glennmid
glennmid
I have had a few people wanting to purchase these from interstate. Would prefer to sell locally. as less hassle. If no-one is interested locally, I will be willing to ship interstate via Pack''n'send as they did a supurb job of packaging and ensuring the speakers arrived in perfect condition. Will give it a few more days and see what happens. Glenn Edited October 24, 2013 by glennmid
pretender
What would be a reasonable room size for those? Also do those have the switchable attenuation of the bass output? Laurent
glennmid
Hi Laurent, Min room size would be probably 4m * 4m. I have mine in a room 5m * 5m. Yes, they do have a switchable bass attenuation. This is to be used if closer than 1.5 m from the wall. If you follow this link, it will give you an option to download the manual for your reference. http://www.kef.com/html/en/explore/about_kef/museum/2000s/Reference_Series_Models_O/index.html Cheers Glenn Glenn

glennmid
I've had some queries in relation to the age of the speakers. http://www.kef.com/h...ls_O/index.html The KEF Ref 3.2 were produced between 2000 - 2001. If you check the KEF website as above, it will give you more info about the speakers. The speakers are close to mint condition apart from the touch-up on the rear of one corner.
