manchu Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Perfect timing. I've got a wedding coming up in a month and need a grey suit. PM on the way
Guest JohnA Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 who was making fun? 36-38 and "very slimming fit"..... hmm..... an oxymoron right? hmmmmmmmm
Juicester Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 hmmmmmmmm oh i see. I thought I was merely pointing out a fact. i.e. 100" waist isn't slim, simply the equivalent of saying a man who's 5ft in height isn't tall.... but I suppose overly sensitive people could take that as an insult..
houdinifangs Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 oh i see. I thought I was merely pointing out a fact. i.e. 100" waist isn't slim, simply the equivalent of saying a man who's 5ft in height isn't tall.... but I suppose overly sensitive people could take that as an insult.. 100" is slimmer than 101" waist and a suit that shapes you to curve in rather out can make you appear to look 99" looks slimming and I have intentionally used poor grammar so that those who have nothing else to do during the day like work or sleep have something else to do ok I must say the grey suit is really nice IMO the photo is rubbish and messes up the look of the fabric perhaps the only thing i regret about about losing weight is that i cant wear this dashing suit screaming fish
Juicester Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 the only thing i regret about about losing weight is that i cant wear this dashing suit screaming fish yes but now you can get a 32 or 34 suit which is VERY slimming..
Super Mustud Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 You could just wear it baggy and tell everyone how much weight you have lost. You will become a legend and chicks will swoon. 1
Juicester Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 chicks will swoon. nah - they swoon more when you're wearing a suit that fits properly. I'm with fangs, better a good fitting suit even if you're a bit on the large side, than something that just hangs off you.

Better to have the better fitting suit and have the chicks just hanging off you 1
Super Mustud Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Me? I have my own tailor who has been making me suits since 1993. He also makes my jackets and cords. Well, he did. he has now retired, and I might have to start turning up in trakkies. Will the chicks still swoon? By the way, fangs, nice gear and super price. Bet the chicks swooned even when you were more chubby.
houdinifangs Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 And now sold, someone else for the ladies to swoon over,
Super Mustud Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 And now sold, someone else for the ladies to swoon over, Well done. Will we get to hear about the suit's future adventures? 1
Saxon Hall Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 nah - they swoon more when you're wearing a suit that fits properly. I'm with fangs, better a good fitting suit even if you're a bit on the large side, than something that just hangs off you. Joke Alert There were 2 young smart arses who worked in a Menswear store and were bored one day. They had a bet that they would sell a particular suit to the next man that walked in the door. A simple looking fellow soon walked in and they were all over the poor bloke. This is an excellent suit sir and would suit you nicely. Oh I don't think so said the poor sap and what's more it seems a bit large. Well try it on before you make up your mind at which point the gentleman tried on the trousers which were too baggy and too long. Oh no no no you need to simulate reaching into your back left pocket with your right hand so the customer contorted himself and naturally the trousers rode up. Now try on the jacket sir at which point they convinced the hapless buyer to reach into his right jacket pocket with his left hand. Oh what a perfect fit sir, you look dashing in such a well fitting suit. You may as well wear it home. Later that day 2 young blokes saw a man hobbling down the road with his arms all contorted. Look at that poor bloke, one of them said. A club foot and a hunchback, The other one said, yes poor bugger, but doesn't that suit fit him well.
