Administrator StereoNET Posted October 21, 2013 Administrator Posted October 21, 2013 I'm not entirely sure what made me do this, but I wanted to know what was on TV today and tonight, back in 1979.The TV guide was much simpler then, hey? 1
shaky Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 The choice at 4pm would have been tough for a kid just home from school. Wonderworld, Shirls Neighbourhood or Skippy? Tough decision.I, at 9yo, used to watch Shirl and Claude. Then again., if only I could've convinced my parents to let me stay up for Miss Australia at 9:30 on 7! :-) 2
caddisgeek Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Bot too tough for me, growing up in East Kirkstall we only had 2 channels, ABC and BTV 6 out of Ballarat, which was a mixture of the three commercial channels with a smattering of locally produced shows (yes, Ballarat had its own tonight show in the 70's)

buddyev Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I reckon the test pattern would have been a winner with young SNAers. It would have had its own thread. 2
Guest Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I reckon the test pattern would have been a winner with young SNAers. It would have had its own thread. And would have been analysed, debated, and thrashed out.
Super Mustud Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 The Super Flying Nun was a great way to start the day.
