Hi,

 

I am a long time tinkerer with old hifi equipment, influenced by my dad who made several light boxes for friends and neighbours in the late 70's and 80's, and put together some heavy speakers with old kitchen cabinets etc.  I am sure they were terrible, but that's not what I remember from childhood :-).

 

My first amp was a Rotel RA-310, then I was given an old NAD 3130(?) that was 10 years old.  Slowly over time (and with starting work!) I saved and bought a Denon AV receiver and was hooked on Denon gear.

 

I enjoy the fact that I can press only a few buttons on my phone now and have millions of songs digitally, but also get out the classic LPs that I've had for 25 years and enjoy them as much.
