Up for sale is a practically brand new (Only played 4-5 records with it) Rega RB900/RB307 tonearm. This was purchased in Aug. 2013 when I purchased my Acoustic Signature turntable (cost me an additional $900) and is an OEM arm made for Acoustic Signature listed as an RB307 but its basically an RB900.

One time flagship Rega tonearm designed for the high end P9 turntable. The RB900 is similar to the RB600 but has higher specification bearings, improved finish and a rigid 3 point mounting system.
"Beautifully detailed and involving, yet completely self effacing, the P9 is one of the best vinyl spinners around" - Hi Fi World April 2002

I will also include a Isokinetik ISO weight (144g) which is also brand new.

Reason for selling is shortly after purchasing I had an opportunity to upgrade to a Audio Origami PU7 for a good price so jumped on it.

Selling for $320 + Free shipping in Aus..

Hi mate,

Would this be a reasonable upgrade from a stock RB300 ?

Hi Mark, still for sale...

Refer to this page which explains the difference between the various Rega arms.

http://www.vinylengine.com/a-guide-rega-tonearms.shtml

Note only the RB900 has a sold stainless 3 point mounting system unlike the RB301/600 or other OEM arms. Originally when I purchased my table I was going to buy another RB700 (like what I had on my P5) but James (Dr. HiFi) mentioned even though the sells the RB700 the OEM RB307 made for Acoustic Signature is a better arm. According to him Acoustic Signature are not a fan of the "revised" anti-skate found in the newer arms so are selling there tables with an optional RB307 instead which is the same as the discontinued RB900. I have an email from James at work where I queried him on all this so will see if i can dig it out and post as he explained the differences better than I.

Hope that helps.
