Further Information: Today we have a Yamaha CDR-HD1300 CD/Hard-Disk Recorder in good secondhand condition. When released in the early 2000's, the CDR-HD1300 would have been right at the cutting-edge digital music storage & what a classic, collectable piece of tech this is!

Concur they are great. I love mine. Also you can use it as a stand alone DAC 
They only burn CD with the CDR AUDIO copyright though. If you try normal CDR like for a PC it won’t burn. It’s no big deal but you need to make sure you buy the right discs that’s all
