progladyte Posted November 20, 2022 Share Posted November 20, 2022 Morning team, I have just bought a new Samsung Galaxy 10.5 inch A8 Tablet to replace a dead Lenovo device but want to activate the gallery function (with slide-show) whenever I attach a USB drive that contains the photos / videos. Both tablet and USB drive use a USB C connection. It seems that in default mode, for the gallery to work, the tablet only recognizes contents stored on the actual tablet itself (or an SD card) and doesn't appear to have a function that allows you to seek other storage locations while still allowing the slide-show function to operate. I don't really want to copy files across each time to check out the quality of my images / videos so being able to add a 3rd party USB drive makes sense and will save time.
