Smp Posted November 19, 2022 Share Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) Sorry, I have to comment that I can’t agree iro price for the second hand PS8 (US inputs) This is a great unit, two having been sold on SNA in the past 12 months- one for $650 and one for $700, the second which also included the very effective plug in Defender (filter/surge protector). I was lucky enough to find one (from an AU dealer’s trade in stock) a couple of weeks ago for a similar price also including the Defender. The PS8 only ever retailed in AU for the low $2,000s (Defender was additional). The US unit has not been imported into AU for some time, having been replaced with the P- AU8 which now has the Defender circuitry in built all for the increased RRP of $3,900. Should you want the very good plug in Defender for this PS8 that would be an additional US$350 (new) which to me makes the purchase even less of a good deal.
