leo Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 The way it`s being promoted it looks like you can`t just roll up at the door, pay your money and go in.Anyone know the truth of the matter?
kramered Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 You're able to buy tickets at the door albeit at a slightly higher price. Pre-payment via the website saves you a few bucks and allows a more efficient and faster flow of people through the badge/arm band desk. Cheers, EK
Guest Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 I've found the website excessively slow at the best of times, but here is the link for tickets: https://www.showclix.com/event/AustralianAudioAVShow13

ZEN MISTER Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 ...... For a lucky few, VAF had a little online competition today with the prize of a three day pass/ wrist band to the first 8 entries. I won number 8!!!!!!! Thanks to the folk at VAF. A lovely gesture. ZM.
Tony M Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Yes, and I scored No 3. I was just sitting at the computer thinking that I had the hotel room booked, but should look into arranging some airfares and tickets to the show when I got an email from VAF offering to mail out VIP wristbands for 3 day's entry to the first 8 people who responded. Like ZM, I was very impressed by this thoughtful gesture by Philip at VAF - a lovely unexpected pressie out of the blue. Now I'll just wait for something similar from Qantas.
Guest JohnA Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 That was very nice of Philip i got my tickets for Friday
Super Mustud Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 In reply to the latest question (in the locked thread) about whether you can purchase on the day. You pay a few dollars more if you purchase at the door and you might have to queue up. The advantage of not purchasing prior is that if you suddenly win Tattslotto and decide to go to Cannes instead, or find that Taylor Momsen has discovered a deep yearning for you and has invited you to her pad for the weekend, then, by golly, you will not have wasted about 25 bucks! I guess it depends on how you see your chances. I'm paying at the door in case Taylor calls. Actually I have already purchased tickets for myself and DIYNut. 2
Guest guru Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 are you looking at billboards or online virals as the best medium of promoting yourself to taylor? one obviously has the advantage of SIZE whilst the other allows more soft sell with different angles for a more all round presentation. cheers.
