Looking for a good quality CD wallet to store my regularly played discs - something that won't damage discs over time.

So many different options that I don't know where to start.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Yes, they came in cases.....

More and more CD's seem to be issued in those cardboard slip cases. They are tricky to get the CD out of without grabbing the surface of the disc.

Invariably the CD ends up on the floor  :o

I thought a wallet might be the go, as I don't really look at track listings or album notes.

Would something like this be overkill?

I got a similar one last year and love it.  Mine is not as deep as this one, but still holds 388 disks.

I find the disks a bit more accessible than when stored in a wallet.

Other downside of a wallet is that the pages are fixed.  If you want the keep the CDs alphabetical, or by genre, etc. the box lets you slot new CDs into their desired location without having to rearrange the other CDs.

I had one like this but mine had drawers so you could stack them or other things on top.

I rarely play real CD's in my car............I just burn copies or compilations so it doesn't matter if I scratch them.

Now that I've ripped all mine to the PC/Server, I store them in plastic crates in the roof.
