surprisetech Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I purchased some music books on ebay and an old mono Beach Boys Reel to Reel tape was included. (Pic attached) It is labelled as: "3 3/4 I.P.S. TWIN TRACK MONO TAPE RECORD". I did have an AKAI 4000DS many years ago, but it was a victim of rationalisation when children arrived on the scene. I am hoping that there might be an R2R owner in Melbourne's Outer East / South East who would be interested in helping me out with testing the tape to see if it is still listenable.

I think I have that on vinyl.
surprisetech Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 I think I have that on vinyl. I bet it's in glorious Stereo too. The tape is only mono! Once tested it will probably just go in the buffet on display alongside the Crystal Set and the Kriesler Table radio.
