Jventer Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Does anyone have experience with or opinions of the 1001 REF mono blocks? I will appreciate your views.
Sir Triode Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) Avoid just because the guy who makes them is a giant tosser who is really up himself. He used to troll the old Apogee User Forum. Seriously though, I believe they are based on the B&O ICE modules with very piss weak power supplies. You should ask ZB - I think he has a negative view of eAR products as well. Winter Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Right about the guy who (did)make them. eAr is now under B&O I've heard. Why I think the website is down. Reg sound. Check the class d tread.

Winter I tried sending you a PM yesterday without success. How does yours compare to the Comsonance monoblocks you have / had?
mpearce38 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Had these were good power wise but harsh mid range held them back. more suited to bass applications I would suggest.
