LHC Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 So it begins. The latest group-hug photo from the full ensemble cast at Comic-Con. This film boast three female Oscar winners in its ranks. 2014 can't come quick enough IMO.
LHC Posted July 28, 2013 Author Posted July 28, 2013 A teaser review of some footage shown at Comic-Con. Spoiler Warning. http://io9.com/first-x-men-days-of-future-past-footage-gave-us-gooseb-853412270 Would be interesting to see their treatment of Rachel Summers.
dack Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Don't know why but the storyline reminds me of Bill and Ted's excellent adventure.
proftournesol Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 They missed a really opportunity to use the Moody Blues album in the soundtrack

Grumpy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 They missed a really opportunity to use the Moody Blues album in the soundtrack I thought this thread was about The MB's
Catostylus Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I thought this thread was about The MB's As did I.
Benje Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Harumphhh! Perhaps we should start up our own Moody Blues thread.
Phantom Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 If it were about the Moody Blues it would be titled Days of Future Passed. It would also be unlikely to be in the TV and movies forum. Just sayin' :)
LHC Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 (edited) The only Moody Blues song I am familiar with is 'Nights in White Satin'. Maybe they are a 'one hit wonder' band? EDIT: given the period setting of the film is in the 1970s, it is entirely plausible that MB music be used and included on the soundtrack. Edited October 30, 2013 by LHC
Dolphy Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Yeah. It's looking good. I can't wait. Slightly off topic. I saw Captain America last week and it was pretty cool. Heaps of action in keen to see it again when it gets released
emesbee Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) I thought this thread was about The MB's Me too! Although that was 'Days of Future Passed'. Edited March 25, 2014 by emesbee
RockandorRoll Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 i wasnt a huge fan of the previous X Men movies. This one looks good though. All i want to see is mutants with different powers kicking the **** out of each other
betocool Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I'm happy this one will be directed by Bryan Singer, who did X-Men in 2001 and X-Men 2 (forgot the proper name) in 2003. Part III of X-Men I found kind of meh, but the other spin offs were ok. Just saw Wolverine couple of weeks ago, the after credits scene was pretty cool! Pretty curious about this one now...
