kramered Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 An early shot of my new room after the relatively recent move. A number of things have changed equipment-wise but that's for another soon-to-be-started thread... 9

houdinifangs Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Not sure about the clock and all the business around it, but I reckon I could put up with it if that room was mine 1
Hergest Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I'm impressed with Romy's room. It's a nice place to sit barefoot indeed. 2
aertex Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Any idea what bass drivers Romy uses Tuyen, or anybody?
unclemack Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Who the hell is Romy the Cat? Nice room though... Cheers M
Briz Vegas Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 My cat wants the scratching post, although he likes a good tower also.
aertex Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) UncleMack, you really need to get out more (in the audio fracas). Romy is a fervent audio nutter who has his own web page which is vast audio library for horn dudes particularly, Goodsoundclub. Romy is a fine fellow who invites discussion in his forums....and then, well, rips the shite out of most unsuspecting victims as only he can Maybe the correct answer is, do you really want to know? Someone with to much money I suspect. Or very very in debt... lol My cat lives outside with the dog for obvious reasons! My favourite room though is where I try and go when in bed alseep every night or relaxing listening to music, OBLIVION...
Guest yamaha_man Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I don't mind the infamous Romy the Cat's room: No competition, he wins!
gz76 Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 My room at the moment. Sorry, can't see the room for all the horns!
planet10 Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I really like my listening room: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/blogs/planet10/493-fall-listening-space.html dave
tuyen Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Alan, The Macondo’s Bass Channel is line arrays. The arrays employ religiously-sealed enclosures with six “spotted†Scan Speak 25W/8565-00 drivers per channel. (http://www.goodsoundclub.com/MacondoAcousticSystem.aspx) I dig Dick Burwen's famous '20,000watt hi-fi system' too. (http://www.burwenaudio.com/Sound_System.html) Great bio too (http://www.burwenaudio.com/Biography.html) 1
Hergest Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Dang! I wish i could remember what this one does. 4
