Guest JohnA Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) Have been working on one of the spare bedrooms over the last week with plans to turn into a music / games room. The room was originally been used as the gym, but with more gym equipment been purchased, it got overcrowded very quickly. Gym equipment got moved into the garage and the spare bedroom had to be put to some sort of use. So have decided to use it as an entertainment room. Guitars, for jamming sessions with the daughter 50" tv and game consoles for game play 2.1 sound system for music Finished painting it a couple of days ago, purchased a tv and today got around to starting to set it up. Still have a long way to go with it and am in no rush to finish it off... still need to get a sofa / sofa bed day bed for it (this way can still be used as a spare bedroom for guests) also need to get a low line entertainment unit for it. Once thats done, then will concentrate on the sound system.. Havent decided which way to go here, AVR and ust 2.1 (to make use of HDMI inputs and switching or just a nice small 2 channel valve integrated, a pair of bookshelves and sub Will update the thread as things progress, but will be very slow. Here are a couple of arty farty pics of were it currently stands Edited June 10, 2013 by JohnA

Gee Emm Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Lookin' good John. A movie poster light box would set it off :-)
Super Mustud Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I can see the effect you are after with that ladder. 1
Super Mustud Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Could be dangerous if you put the Octagons in there. This is what happened to someone else who tried it.
Super Mustud Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I have always liked the classic Vogue fashion shot from the '50's that used ladders. You could modernise it like this with a group family pic like this.
