Thanks for that Pops110,that makes me sad and suspicious of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. I'm guessing my amp will not be covered by warranty if i need it.No more morality in the world.I guess law of the jungle wins over law of God. No honour between animals, just instinct!!!

If you bought/buy your amp from an existing Line Magnetic dealer you will be covered.

But it has been an interesting journey in how many overseas models were privately imported and expected the distributor / dealer network to be held accountable.

Relationships are worth everything in this game.

I've experienced this myself as a distributor - being promised the world and handed an atlas.

This is par the course when dealing with the PRC and other Asian companies. The stuff sold on the online stores are call "water goods" in Mandarin and Cantonese.i.e. grey market goods. This has been happening for decades not only in Audio but with camera equipment too (e.g. Nikon and Canon). Same product out of the factory sold without warranty.
