After some suggestions on stands for a pair of Lenehan ML1s. Height around the 600mm mark. Would prefer to keep the cost below $300 but we will see...

It's a bit tricky to buy on the 2nd hand market because I'm in Hobart and stands are usually advertised as "pickup only". I found these (postable) options on ebay:

Thanks in advance.

I strongly recommend you ask Mike for a price on the proper Tunestands. You never know he might be able to do you a deal on a demo pair he has in the workshop. As your probably aware the Tunestands are specifically developed for the ML1's and each stand is about twice the weight of the speaker. I couldn't imagine using some of the lesser stands as the stand itself needs to be heavy and inert.

I use Tunestands with the carpet piercing spikes wound all the way in to the stand base. I can then "dial out" and movement in the stand due to the uneven floor with a couple of rotations on one of the rear spikes. I also decouple the speaker from the stand top plate using 4 of Herbie's Audio Lab Big Fat Dots on each corner, very effective.

I have noticed that some people have previously used B&W FS700 stands with ML1's so you may want to check them out. They may be more in line with your existing budget.
