Any RCA compression driver owners out there??

Hi Guys

Any of you own/ed or heard RCA compression drivers-either field coil or perm. magnet?? There are quite a few models spanning late 1930's to 1960's. The field coil RCA MI-1428 and 1443 are legendary and were used as a design basis for the Cogent DS1428 and 1448 field coil drivers. Of the permanent magnet versions, the RCA MI-9584 of the 40's onwards is most well known and received. Havent heard any myself...yet, but wonder who has and how they rate them
