So we have a thread about an unusual fruit.

Yesterday, someone sent me these pics of an unusual vegetable.

Apparently it is a Vietnamese pumpkin.

Would be great to plant along your front fence.

Can anyone tell me what they taste like?

The Viet Kong used them hanging from tall trees on a long vine rope and when enemy soldiers triggered a trip line they swung down and knocked them out cold.Hence the term booby trap.

I can feel that from here, great way reduce tadpole production!

Agreed. There is a ute up the road from me with a chromed pair. I just want to kick them they look so silly, but I think that would only hurt my foot.
