Next night , started to look at positioning at bit more throughly and moved the speakers back to 45cm from the rear wall and then swung/angled them so the outer rear corner is 55cm from the rear wall.

much better with the toe in and the bass has also improved. I may move the speakers back out to 50cm point and them apply the same amount of toe in. At the moment from the sitting position , the sides of speaker are in minimal view.

How are they progressing Dave?

Keen on your thoughts, I like the design.

Can they rock of course they can , but do it with style - rock isn’t probably my most prolific music choice , but

nirvanas nevermind - play well and for all that is happening in the songs , the Dacelo never seem to get hard or confused be it smells like or the ( killing joke sounding into ) Come as you are.

one ( 2 actually ) of my reach for rock albums are the first 2 Bob Mould albums and again the Dacelos play well, from the slow sound build up to heaving drumming of Sacrifice/ let their be peace.

then contrast that the the slower melancholy of  Compositions For the Young and Old. Either songs, the Dacelos cover well, from Mr Moulds vocals to the strong guitar work.

They do seem to have that retro look courtesy of wharfedale, KLH , PSB and yes klispch , but imo they also manage to look modern.

They remind me of Celestion Ditton 44's

I’m big lover of electronic music so have to test the Dacelos with some choice cuts.

herbie Handcocks Rockit was played earlier, but it’s it good track testing  the speed of a speakers with it fast paced bass and beats and the electronic sounding “ brass stabs”  - the Dacelos go deep abut also fast.

Yello’s stella album is always a fave to show off with, but perhaps my fav track on the album is Desert Inn.

With its funky percussion, lowish sounding vocals and the guitars and the usual good Yello production - Dacelo keep the bass and turning them up you can hear and feel, everything happening in the mix

next up - another reach for demo track that with the right speakers sounds stunning - the intro synth sounds that start at the begging before the bass synth kicks in , should dance around wide to the left and right of the speakers. Then the drums and then The bass synth. The wide sound stage isn’t always there with lesser speakers and once every is happening can be a bit mushy. Dacelos do a very good job with sound stage and the final mix.
