Need a little advice from the StereoNet Brains Trust on selling some kit - what is it worth?

Hello all,

 

Have been a member since 2007 but have been AWOL for the last 10 or so years.

 

Hoping to get some help/advice.

 

I bought some hifi kit back in 2011 but due to a number of circumstances never used it (apart from checking it all worked). And after storing it for years I need to sell it.

 

It is all in mint condition and some of it is still boxed.

 

I was hoping that people can advise on how much it is worth.

 

• Yamaha RXA3000 AV receiver
• Definitive Technology Mythos STS (1 pair of speakers)
• Definitive Technology Mythos 10 (1 speaker)
• Definitive Technology UIW-65 (2 pairs of speakers)  - still boxed

Usually hifi shark is a good   place also for some pricing

Google for sale of each make and item model and see what comes up.

As a rough guide, you may be able to resell at 2/3 of RRP for current model speakers. Yes, speakers may be mint but being more than 10 years old, you will have to reduce prices significantly.

 

For older AVRs without current audio formats, at best a quarter of RRP ??? 

 

As the others have suggested,  do a search of Hifi Shark, here and other sites.
